The 2026 Swift Conqueror Grande 580 is a single-axle, four-berth touring caravan measuring 25' long with an MTPLM of 1,736 kg, built in the wider 8'1" Grande body. It follows the same layout as the standard-width Conqueror 580 — parallel bench seats at the front, a central kitchen, a transverse island bed and an end washroom — but the extra width adds noticeable room across the living space, kitchen and bedroom. The Grande 580 delivers the Conqueror's premium specification, including Alde radiator heating and integrated alarm, on a single-axle chassis.

The bodyshell uses Swift's SMART construction: a PURe polyurethane timber-less frame with polystyrene insulation and GRP panels on all surfaces. Sidewalls are 25mm with balanced GRP skins, the roof is 32mm hail-resistant bonded GRP, and the 44mm sandwich floor combines GRP, plywood and Ravatherm insulation. EN1645 Grade 3 thermal insulation is confirmed by cold chamber testing.

The AL-KO galvanised steel chassis with Euro-axle is fitted with 15-inch half diamond-cut 'Edge' alloy wheels, a steel spare, wheel lock and shock absorbers. Heavy-duty corner steadies and rain guards are standard. External features include a 120W roof-mounted solar panel, BBQ and mains points, a cold water shower point and external service doors for under-bed access. The entrance door has a magnetic stay, moulded interior liner, concealed hinges and integrated window with blind. New exterior graphics refresh the look for 2026.

The interior has 1.95m (6'5") headroom with the new 'Iron' soft furnishing scheme, Sangallo Elm woodgrain and 'Grau' and 'Tora Tela' accents. Upper locker doors are finished in 'Kasmere' with 'Glido' inlay and soft-close hinges. The Grey French Oak scratch-resistant vinyl floor has sectioned removable carpets that can be bleached.

A new Dometic panoramic front sunroof with integrated curved blind system, recessed lighting and speakers brings light into the lounge. Luxury curtains on twin tracks and wall pads dress the front windows. New sprung seat bases with tri-foam backrests improve both daytime seating and sleeping comfort when the lounge converts to a double bed via slats on track.

The transverse island bed sits on aluminium frames with a new wooden surround and full-height headboard. An exclusive Duvalay Duvalite Strato mattress features a platinum support layer, reflex foam and memory fibre for improved airflow. Wardrobes with mirrors flank the sleeping area, and a new larger external luggage door gives access to under-bed storage. All windows have pleated blinds and flyscreens.

The L-shaped kitchen has a new solid-surface worktop with flush-fitting chopping board. Cooking appliances include a Thetford thermostatic oven and grill, three-burner gas hob with electric hotplate (all electronic ignition), a flatbed ventilated microwave, and a dual-hinged Dometic Series 10 133-litre slimline fridge with 12-litre removable freezer. New for 2026 are a flush-fitting splashback with utensil hanging space and two pull-out wire baskets. The wider Grande body gives a little extra elbow room around the worktop. An extractor fan, foldaway worktop extension, stainless steel sink with chrome swivel-spout tap, soft-close drawers and freestanding table are also fitted.

The end washroom features the 2026 update with a thicker 'Levato' marble-effect work surface, new vanity bowl, new splashback and additional lighting. An Ecocamel Jetstorm showerhead with push-button on/off conserves water, and the Thetford toilet has an electric flush and 18-litre wheeled waste tank. Handleless furniture and a 31mm door with domestic-style lock keep the design clean. A storage shelf, towel ring, shower hanging rail and removable bleachable carpet are included.

A new larger external luggage door provides under-bed access from outside. Inside, the front chest has a soft-close drawer and slide-out extending top. Overhead lockers with positive catches and chrome handles, upper front corner lockers and spaceframe seat bases with full front access provide further storage options.

Alde radiator central heating and hot water is controlled via an LCD touchscreen with daily programming and 1kW, 2kW or 3kW output options. Perimeter radiators warm under-bed, under-seat and washroom areas. The 4-inch LCD colour touchscreen manages power, battery levels, lighting with soft-start dimming, and environmental monitoring including temperature and humidity.

The electrical system provides a 25-amp switchmode charger/transformer, at least six 230V sockets with USB-A and USB-C points, a wireless phone charging pad, and a 25-metre mains hook-up cable. LED lighting includes lounge downlights, under-counter kitchen lighting, over-locker lighting, adjustable under-locker spotlights with USB, illuminated pelmets, kitchen plinth downlights and strip lights above wardrobes. An FM/DAB radio with USB and Bluetooth, Status 570 directional TV/FM aerial with booster, and TV connection points are fitted.

A passive infra-red alarm system with tilt sensor and key fob is standard. AL-KO ATC and AKS 3004 stabiliser manage towing stability. Security features include one-key high-security locks, entrance door deadlock, VIN CHIP identification, CRiS identity labels and an AL-KO Secure axle wheel lock. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are included.

The Swift Conqueror Grande 580 is backed by a manufacturer 10-year bodyshell warranty, subject to annual servicing.
