2026 Swift Sprite Alpine 4

The 2026 Swift Sprite Alpine 4 is a compact fixed-bed caravan designed with simplicity and practicality in mind. At 7'4" wide, it is lightweight and budget-friendly, making it well-suited to first-time caravanners. The layout offers a fixed bed, convertible front seating and a corner washroom. Built using Swift's SMART construction with GRP body panels and EN1645 Grade 3 thermal insulation, it is rated for year-round use.

The bodyshell uses Swift's SMART 'PURe' polyurethane timber-less frame with polystyrene insulation and GRP outer skins (25mm sidewalls, 32mm roof). The floor is a 44mm sandwich construction with GRP outer skin, ply upper and a high-rigidity Ravatherm core. The hail-resistant GRP roof is fully bonded for strength and flatness.

The chassis is an AL-KO Vario X with a streamlined aerodynamic profile, finished with striking grey exterior graphics and chrome grab handles. The front panel features triple flush-fitting opening windows and LED marker lights, while the full-height GRP rear panel carries LED light clusters and a high-level marker and brake light. It rides on 14-inch Edge alloy wheels with a steel spare wheel included.

The interior offers 1.95m (6'5") headroom with the new 'Cherub' soft furnishing scheme, sprung seat bases and tri-foam backrests. A mechanically fixed panoramic front sunroof with a fully integrated curved blind system fills the space with natural light. The floor is a grey French Oak effect scratch-resistant vinyl with sectioned removable bleachable carpets.

Fixed beds use Duvalay Duvalite Strato mattresses with a platinum support layer, reflex foam and memory fibre for airflow. Aluminium bed frames maximise storage space underneath. Beech slat seat and bed bases provide comfort, with sprung hinged tops for easy access to storage below.

The kitchen features a Thetford thermostatic oven and grill with a three-burner gas hob. The glass hob lid includes auto gas shut-off for safety. A Dometic 10-series 98-litre under-counter fridge with freezer compartment provides cold storage. A durable stainless steel sink and freestanding table complete the setup.

The corner washroom includes a boutique-style wash basin unit with cupboard and mirror, an Ecocamel Jetstorm showerhead with on/off button for water-saving performance, and the new 'White Stipple' marble-effect shower wallboard. The Thetford toilet has an electric flush and an 18-litre wheeled waste tank.

Overhead lockers with positive catches and chrome handles keep items secure on the move, with shelves in selected lockers. Seat bases feature spaceframe construction with full front access, providing room for larger items.

Heating is provided by a dual-fuel Truma Combi Boiler with a digital programmable controller for heating and hot water. The Truma blown-air system warms areas under beds, seats and the washroom. A user-friendly 12V control panel handles battery selection, battery state, lighting and water pump controls.

The electrical system includes a 25-amp switchmode charger/transformer, a 25-metre mains hook-up cable, LED lighting throughout, and chrome-effect sockets and switches. A branded FM/DAB radio with USB, Bluetooth and auxiliary input is fitted, along with a Status 570 directional aerial and booster.
