The 2026 Swift Conqueror 645 is a twin-axle, four-berth touring caravan measuring 26'2" long with an MTPLM of 1,805 kg. At 7'5" wide, it returns to the Conqueror range for the new model year. It shares the same proven layout as the single-axle 580 — parallel bench seats at the front, a central kitchen, a transverse island bed and an end washroom — but adds the stability and payload benefits of twin axles. The 645 is suited to caravanners who want a spacious fixed-bed tourer with Alde radiator heating and premium-level specification.
Construction and Exterior
The bodyshell uses Swift's SMART construction with a PURe polyurethane timber-less frame, polystyrene insulation and GRP panels on all surfaces. Wall, roof and floor specifications match the rest of the Conqueror range: 25mm balanced GRP sidewalls, 32mm hail-resistant bonded GRP roof, and a 44mm sandwich floor of GRP, plywood and Ravatherm insulation. The structure carries EN1645 Grade 3 thermal insulation certification.
The twin AL-KO galvanised steel chassis with Euro-axle is fitted with 15-inch half diamond-cut 'Edge' alloy wheels, a steel spare, wheel locks and shock absorbers for a smoother tow. Heavy-duty corner steadies and a side-lift jack with brackets are included. A 120W roof-mounted solar panel, external BBQ and mains points, and a cold water shower point are standard. External service doors give access under the nearside front bed and the fixed bed. New exterior graphics are part of the 2026 update.
Living and Sleeping
The interior has 1.95m (6'5") of headroom with the new 'Iron' soft furnishing scheme, Sangallo Elm woodgrain, and 'Grau' and 'Tora Tela' accents. Upper locker doors are finished in 'Kasmere' with 'Glido' inlay and soft-close hinges. The Grey French Oak effect vinyl floor is scratch-resistant, with sectioned removable carpets that can be bleached.
The front lounge benefits from a new Dometic panoramic sunroof with integrated curved blind system, recessed lighting and speakers. Luxury curtains on twin tracks dress the front windows with complementary wall pads. New sprung seat bases and tri-foam backrests improve comfort, and the front lounge converts to a double bed using a slat system retained on track.
The transverse island bed sits on aluminium frames with a new wooden surround and full-height headboard. An exclusive Duvalay Duvalite Strato mattress provides a platinum support layer, reflex foam and memory fibre for improved airflow. Wardrobes with mirrors flank the bed area, and a new larger external luggage door gives access to under-bed storage from outside. All windows have pleated blinds and flyscreens.
Kitchen
The L-shaped kitchen has a new solid-surface worktop with flush-fitting chopping board. Cooking appliances include a Thetford thermostatic oven and grill, three-burner gas hob with electric hotplate and electronic ignition, a flatbed ventilated microwave, and a dual-hinged Dometic Series 10 133-litre slimline fridge with 12-litre removable freezer. New for 2026: a flush-fitting splashback with utensil hanging space and two pull-out wire baskets in the kitchen cupboard. An extractor fan, foldaway worktop extension, stainless steel sink with chrome swivel-spout tap, soft-close drawers and a freestanding table are also fitted.
Washroom
The end washroom features an updated design for 2026 with a thicker 'Levato' marble-effect work surface, new vanity bowl, new splashback and additional lighting. An Ecocamel Jetstorm showerhead with push-button on/off conserves water, and the Thetford toilet has an electric flush and 18-litre wheeled waste tank. Handleless furniture and a 31mm door with domestic-style lock give the space a clean finish. A storage shelf, towel ring, shower hanging rail and removable bleachable carpet are included.
Storage
The twin-axle 645 benefits from a new larger external luggage door for under-bed access. Inside, the front chest has a soft-close drawer and slide-out extending top. Overhead lockers use positive catches with chrome handles, upper front corner lockers provide additional space, and spaceframe seat bases open from the front for bulkier items.
Heating, Electrics and Entertainment
Alde radiator central heating and hot water is controlled via an LCD touchscreen with daily programming and a choice of 1kW, 2kW or 3kW output. Perimeter radiators warm under-bed, under-seat and washroom areas. The twin-axle 645 includes an underslung 40-litre fresh water tank and pump control via the 4-inch LCD colour touchscreen, which also manages power, battery levels, lighting (with soft-start dimming) and environmental monitoring.
The electrical system provides a 25-amp switchmode charger/transformer, at least six 230V sockets with USB-A and USB-C points, a wireless phone charging pad, and a 25-metre mains hook-up cable. LED lighting throughout includes lounge downlights, under-counter kitchen lighting, over-locker lighting, adjustable under-locker spotlights with USB points, illuminated pelmets, kitchen plinth downlights and strip lights above wardrobes. Entertainment covers an FM/DAB radio with USB and Bluetooth, a Status 570 directional TV/FM aerial with booster, and TV points.
Safety and Security
The Conqueror 645 includes a passive infra-red alarm system with tilt sensor and key fob. AL-KO ATC and AKS 3004 stabiliser manage towing stability. Further security features include one-key high-security locks, entrance door deadlock, VIN CHIP identification, CRiS identity labels, AL-KO Secure axle wheel locks and a side-lift jack with brackets. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are standard.
