The 2026 Swift Conqueror 580 is a single-axle, four-berth touring caravan measuring 25' long with an MTPLM of 1,660 kg. At 7'5" wide, it offers a layout that balances living space and sleeping comfort. The 580 arranges parallel bench seats at the front (converting to a double bed), a central kitchen, a transverse island bed in the rear half and an end washroom beyond. It remains within single-axle territory while offering a fixed bed and a generous equipment list. The Conqueror range sits above the Challenger in Swift's line-up, featuring Alde radiator heating, premium interior finishes and an integrated alarm system.

Swift's SMART construction underpins the 580, using a PURe polyurethane timber-less bodyshell frame with polystyrene insulation and GRP panels. Sidewalls are 25mm with balanced GRP inner and outer skins, the roof is 32mm with a hail-resistant bonded finish, and the 44mm sandwich floor combines GRP, plywood and Ravatherm insulation. The structure is EN1645 Grade 3 certified for thermal insulation.

The chassis is AL-KO galvanised steel with Euro-axle, fitted with 15-inch half diamond-cut 'Edge' alloy wheels, a steel spare, wheel lock and shock absorbers. A 120W roof-mounted solar panel, external BBQ and mains points, and a cold water shower point are all standard. The entrance door includes a magnetic stay, interior moulded liner, concealed hinges, built-in window with blind, and even a bin with dustpan and brush. New exterior graphics complete the 2026 refresh.

Inside, there is 1.95m (6'5") of headroom. The new 'Iron' soft furnishing scheme is paired with Sangallo Elm woodgrain and 'Grau' and 'Tora Tela' accent details. Upper locker doors feature 'Kasmere' with 'Glido' inlay and soft-close hinges. The Grey French Oak effect vinyl floor is scratch-resistant, and sectioned removable carpets can be bleached for easy maintenance.

A new Dometic panoramic front sunroof with integrated curved blind system, recessed lighting and speakers brings light into the lounge. Luxury curtains on twin tracks dress the front windows, complemented by wall pads. New sprung seat bases and tri-foam backrests improve comfort for both sitting and sleeping.

The transverse island bed sits on aluminium frames with a new wooden bed base surround, full-height headboard and an exclusive Duvalay Duvalite Strato mattress featuring a platinum support layer, reflex foam and memory fibre. A new larger external luggage door provides access to storage beneath the fixed bed. Wardrobes with mirrors flank the bed area. All windows have pleated blinds and flyscreens.

The L-shaped kitchen offers generous worktop and storage space, topped with a new solid-surface worktop and flush-fitting chopping board. Cooking equipment includes a Thetford thermostatic oven and grill, a three-burner gas hob with electric hotplate and electronic ignition, and a flatbed ventilated microwave. A dual-hinged Dometic Series 10 133-litre slimline fridge with 12-litre removable freezer provides cold storage.

New for 2026 are a flush-fitting splashback with utensil hanging space and two pull-out wire baskets in the kitchen cupboard. The stainless steel sink has a chrome swivel-spout tap, and a removable drainer and food-grade nylon chopping board nest together in a dedicated storage location. An extractor fan, foldaway worktop extension, soft-close drawers and a freestanding table complete the kitchen.

The end washroom has been updated for 2026 with a thicker 'Levato' marble-effect work surface, new vanity bowl, new splashback and additional lighting. An Ecocamel Jetstorm showerhead with push-button on/off helps conserve water. The Thetford toilet has an electric flush and 18-litre wheeled waste tank. Handleless furniture gives a clean, modern look, and the 31mm washroom door has a domestic-style lock and handle. A storage shelf, towel ring, shower hanging rail and removable bleachable carpet are included.

A new larger external luggage door gives access under the fixed bed from outside. The front chest has a soft-close drawer and slide-out extending top. Overhead lockers use positive catches with chrome handles, upper front corner lockers add extra space, and spaceframe seat bases open from the front for larger items.

The Conqueror 580 uses Alde radiator central heating and hot water, programmable daily via an LCD touchscreen with 1kW, 2kW or 3kW output options. Perimeter radiators provide even warmth to under-bed, under-seat and washroom areas.

A 4-inch LCD colour touchscreen manages power, battery levels, lighting with soft-start dimming, and environmental monitoring (internal/external temperature and humidity). The electrical system includes a 25-amp switchmode charger/transformer, at least six 230V sockets with USB-A and USB-C points, a wireless phone charging pad, and a 25-metre mains hook-up cable.

LED lighting is comprehensive: lounge downlights, under-counter kitchen lighting, over-locker lighting, adjustable under-locker spotlights with USB points, illuminated pelmets above side windows, kitchen plinth downlights and strip lights above wardrobes. Entertainment includes an FM/DAB radio with USB and Bluetooth, a Status 570 directional TV/FM aerial with booster, and TV points with 230V, 12V and aerial connections.

The Conqueror comes with a passive infra-red alarm system with tilt sensor and key fob operation. AL-KO ATC electronic stability control and an AKS 3004 stabiliser manage towing safety. Security also includes one-key high-security locks, an entrance door deadlock, VIN CHIP identification, CRiS identity labels and an AL-KO Secure axle wheel lock. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are standard.

The Swift Conqueror 580 is backed by a manufacturer 10-year bodyshell warranty, subject to annual servicing.
